Baromax High Pressure Tubing, Stainless Steel
Description
High-pressure tubing is produced from seamless stainless steel to precise specifications, with sizes chosen according to operating pressure and orifice. Standard lengths are 6–7 metres, with shorter or longer options available to suit transport and installation requirements. To improve service life and fatigue resistance, particularly under severe or frequent pressure variations, tubing and components can undergo autofrettage, a process that also covers high-pressure connections.
Connections may be created using threading and coning tools, or supplied as ready-to-use tube nipples. Pre-finished pipe spirals can also be manufactured from drawings or samples. It is important to note that high-pressure tubing loses significant strength when heated above 600 °C and must not be bent, welded, or soldered.
