Baromax Pipe Spirals

Description

Ready-to-use pipe spirals with integrated high-pressure connections can be produced to specification based on drawings or samples. For optimal service life, the bending radius should not be less than five times the tubing diameter. Tubing lengths are typically 6–7 metres, though alternative sizes can be provided as required, with selection guided by operating pressure and orifice.

To enhance durability and fatigue resistance, tubing and components may undergo autofrettage, which is particularly beneficial under severe or frequent pressure variations. This process also covers high-pressure connections. It should be noted that high-pressure tubing loses significant strength when exposed to temperatures above 600 °C and must not be bent, welded, or soldered.
